Kayak and rescue course
(wild water) – 3 days
The course is organized in collaboration with the Bulgarian Red Cross. The program provides teaching, equipment and local transport. The participants who finish the course with success receive a certificate. The minimal number of participants is 8 persons.
The course is addressed to all who would like to be initiated in the extreme sports in wild water.The minimal age of the participants is 14 years.
The program of the course is:
1st day - introduction to the equipment for descent in wild water
- swimming test
- raft or canoe descent on training itinerary
- instruction about the formations and the obstacles in the river
- demonstration of kayaking technique in wild water
2nd day - lessons of kayak technique on training itinerary
- kayak descent on training itinerary
3rd day - rescue and aid in different situations from the bank and in the water
- kayaking technique in wild water
- descent on training itinerary
